This program is to attract people who are willing and able to make a significant contribution to the cultural or athletic life of Canada to immigrate to Canada.

To be qualified, the applicants must have:

 * relevant experience of participation in cultural activities or athletics at a world-class level, OR

 * been a self-employed person in cultural activities or athletics.

The Immigration Canada uses a point system to assess the applicant's experience, education, age, language abilities and adaptabilities. The applicant must get a minimum 35 out of 100 points to be qualified.
